The Expression Check

Your genes do not change.
What they are doing does.

Two people can carry the same variant and look nothing alike. What decides the difference is everything around it: what you eat, what you are exposed to, how much stress you carry, and where your hormones are right now.

This check does not read your genes. It reads what your body is doing today, across six pathways. Thirty-six questions, about five minutes.

Where the signal is.

These are patterns, not findings. A high score says a pathway is worth looking at. It does not say anything about your genes, because this check never looked at them.

This check looks at the symptoms.
The report looks at the reason.

Every question above came from published research on a specific pathway. What it cannot tell you is whether your own genetics are part of why that pathway is loaded.

That is the next step. A DNA report reads the genes behind these six pathways and turns them into what to eat, what to ask your doctor about, and what is worth testing. It is where a pattern becomes an explanation.

Questions people ask

Is this a genetic test?

No. This check asks about what your body is doing right now. It does not read your genes. A DNA report is the separate step that looks at whether your genetics help explain the pattern.

How long does it take?

About five minutes. Thirty-six questions across six pathways.

What do the scores mean?

A higher score in a section means more of the things associated with that pathway are showing up for you. It is a signal worth looking at, not a finding and not a diagnosis.

Do I need to do blood work first?

No. Blood work and a DNA report both add detail, but neither is required to take this check or to work with Sarah.

What happens after I finish?

You will see a score for each of the six pathways. You can send the results to Sarah, who will tell you which parts are worth following up and whether a DNA report would answer anything.

A note on scope. Sarah is a Functional Nutrition Practitioner. This check is educational and reflects her reading of the research. It is not a diagnosis, it does not replace medical care, and nothing here should be used to start, stop or change a medication. Diagnosis and treatment belong with a licensed physician. If a result here concerns you, bring it to yours.
