Integrative Wellness is a clinical nutrigenomics practice founded by Sarah Patrick, a Holistic Health Practitioner. The practice operates remotely and by referral. This privacy policy governs the website at int-wellness.com and its subpages.

What information we collect
We collect only what you give us, and only what we need to respond to you or operate the site.
Information you provide directly
- Contact information when you email us, fill out a booking form, or join the journal email list. This typically includes your name, email address, and phone number if you choose to share it.
- Health and wellness information only if you voluntarily share it with us (for example, in an intake email, a booking form, or during a consultation). We do not request health information through any form on this website itself.
- Booking details if you schedule an appointment through our scheduling provider.
- Self-assessment responses if you complete the Dirty Gene Self-Assessment on this site. The assessment runs entirely in your browser and is not stored on our servers. The only way responses reach us is when you choose to email your results to us using the button on that page.
Information collected automatically
- Basic web analytics if and when we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool. This may include the pages you visit, how you arrived at our site, your approximate location based on IP address, and the type of device or browser you use. We do not use cookies that track you across other sites.
- Server logs from our hosting provider, which may include IP address, request time, and browser information for security and reliability purposes.
How we use information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your inquiries and questions
- Schedule and conduct consultations or appointments
- Send journal articles and updates if you have explicitly subscribed

Third-party services we use
This website depends on a small number of third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy, which you should review.
- Hosting provider (Vercel or our chosen static host) processes server logs as part of delivering the website.
- Email provider (the service you reach when emailing sarah@int-wellness.com) handles email storage and delivery.
- Scheduling provider (Cal.com or similar) processes appointment bookings if you choose to use the scheduling link.
- Email list provider (Substack or similar) processes journal subscriptions if you opt in.
- Google Fonts serves the typography on this site. Per Google's policy, font requests log basic information such as IP address.
We do our best to choose providers that respect privacy, but we are not responsible for their data handling. Their respective privacy policies apply to information they collect.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use marketing or advertising cookies. If we add web analytics, we will use a privacy-friendly tool (such as Plausible or Vercel Analytics) that does not track you across sites and does not require a cookie consent banner. We will update this policy if that changes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

We keep email correspondence and booking records as long as needed to provide services to you and to meet legal and tax obligations. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
HIPAA and medical records
Integrative Wellness is not a HIPAA-covered entity. We are not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse, and we do not transmit medical claims. Information shared with us is treated with care, but it is not protected by HIPAA. If you require services subject to HIPAA, please consult a licensed healthcare provider.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, but no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. You acknowledge that you share information at your own risk.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated through the site or by email if you have subscribed.
